(HorizonPost.com) – Both the Republicans and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador say President Joe Biden is responsible for the disaster at the border. Now, more than 80 additional children who surrendered to authorities at the border in Arizona as part of a group of more than 130 illegal aliens on Thursday, April 1, will join the thousands of other unaccompanied minors already in American custody. According to Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), they’re jammed in like sardines while the administration plays games and refuses to call it a “crisis.”

WGNO-TV in New Orleans reports the government anticipates as many as 184,000 could arrive during the fiscal year that started on October 1, 2020. And, not all of them will be brought to the border and sent over by extended family to surrender to American officials. As the world saw in a video release, human smugglers dropped two toddlers off a 14-foot tall wall.
The Democrats showed they were willing to put human suffering behind their Agenda when they held up a coronavirus relief bill while President Donald Trump was still in office. One has to wonder if their hearts are smaller than that of the Grinch before his “grew three sizes that day.”
Unaccompanied migrant children can’t wait until Christmas for a miracle — they need smart, decisive legislation or executive action to resolve this crisis now.
