Biden Falsely Declares Delaware As Having The Most Chickens
(HorizonPost.com) – When pardoning two turkeys at the White House on Monday, President Biden erroneously asserted that his native state of Delaware has the most chickens in the country.
Biden, who turned 80 on Sunday, made the untrue claim that Delaware has more chickens than any other state in the US but no turkeys.
The president’s asinine assertion that turkeys are not in Delaware, commonly known as the Blue Hen State, is refuted by the state’s vast list of turkey farms.
The nation’s second-smallest state does, however, boast a thriving poultry sector, with a 200:1 chicken population to human population ratio. However, according to Statistica, Delaware’s chicken population does not rank in the top 10 in the country. According to the National Chicken Council, its poultry sector, estimated to be worth $1.7 billion and supporting 3,500 employees, is not even in the top five in the United States.
President Biden’s lies mount up higher than inflation.
The president’s alleged “facts,” regardless of whether he is discussing the status of the economy or his college adventures, don’t pass the most elementary scrutiny.
His favorite myth of the past few weeks is that his leadership has improved the financial situation of Americans.
Another whopper was Mr. Biden telling the U.S. Naval Academy graduates that he was appointed to Annapolis as a young man but turned it down.
He claimed that Delaware Republican Sen. J. Caleb Boggs appointed him to Annapolis in 1965. He declined the service academy because he wanted to play football, but famed quarterback Roger Staubach and star halfback Joe Bellino were already there.
Mr. Biden played wide receiver and halfback in prep school, not quarterback. Boggs became a senator in 1961 after graduating high school in 1960.
Mr. Biden graduated from law school in 1965. The Naval Academy doesn’t accept graduates.
Researchers investigated Boggs’ academy nomination documents but found no evidence to support Mr. Biden’s assertion. Researchers found early 1960s recordings but not 1961 or 1965.
The White House hasn’t offered proof of Mr. Biden’s story other than his 2010 account.
Biden is a pathetic joke.
