(HorizonPost.com) – In October 2017, an asteroid dubbed ’Oumuamua — a rough translation of the Hawaiian word for scout — became the first known object to originate in a different star system to pass through the Solar system. In April 2020, the Department of Defense acknowledged three videos circulating on the Internet showing Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) were, in fact, taken by United States Navy (USN) aircraft.
On January 2, 2021, reports began circulating that several people witnessed and filmed a bright blue object moving across the Hawaiian sky, at times stopping to hover, then diving into the ocean. Dr. Avi Loeb, Ph.D., a professor at Harvard University, sees this as further evidence that Earth has been observed and probably visited by extraterrestrials.

Although some doubt the theories of aliens having visited the planet, the United States government is at least open to the idea. From 1947 to 1969, the United States Air Force ran Project BLUE BOOK, and in 2020, the USN officially announced the formation of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force to investigate potential sightings.
