Famous Actor Arrested For Taking Gun To An Airport

(HorizonPost.com) – Demetrius Flenory Jr., a well-known actor and star of the drama series “BMF,” reportedly got arrested for carrying a gun on Tuesday at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

According to reports, the actor, also known as “Lil Meech,” had a gun in his carry-on luggage. According to TMZ, after airport security discovered the weapon, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the scene to take the actor into custody. According to the outlet, the alleged incident marked the 130th firearm found at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport in 2022.

Police claimed Lil Meech had a Glock 19 9mm in his luggage. Even though the weapon was reportedly unloaded, officers discovered a 15-round magazine during a subsequent search.

According to TMZ, Lil Meech was not carrying a carry permit at the time. He was booked and placed in jail on the felony charge of bringing a gun into the secure airport area. The actor’s future court dates are not currently known.

The team behind Lil Meech has not formally commented on the situation. The plot keeps progressing.

Never one to pass up a chance to promote his work, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson poked fun at the show’s star Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. on Instagram while promoting the Season 2 premiere of Starz’s drama series BMF.

Jackson executive produces BMF, which stars Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Jr. as the lead.

Flenory’s father was the actual head of the Black Mafia Family. “Big Meech” currently serves a 30-year prison term for drug trafficking and money laundering. He’s anticipated to be released in 2028.

Lil Meech is said to have also been detained in Miami on suspicion of fraud and/or theft in May 2022.

According to sources, the FBI may have jurisdiction over this case, given the nature of the alleged fraud crimes he was charged with. Lil Meech was accused of two crimes: first-degree grand theft and first-degree organized fraud, according to the charges.
