GBI Investigator James O'Sullivan Found Dead

(HorizonPost.com) – On a rural stretch of highway in Georgia on December 4, a 20-year-old man died in a fiery crash just ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s Defend the Majority rally. Harrison Deal wasn’t just any young man, though. He served on Senator Kelly Loeffler’s (R-GA) campaign staff as she and Senator David Perdue (R-GA) faced a hotly contested runoff election to maintain their Georgia Senate seats. The January runoff election will ultimately determine which party controls the Senate.

Harrison was also a close family friend of Governor Brian Kemp (R) and was rumored to have dated one of the governor’s daughters. As a result of his death, both Gov. Kemp and Sen. Loeffler declined to attend the rally, sparking rumors surrounding his death. Some witnesses claim to have heard explosions before the crash, leading to speculation about how, exactly, Deal died and whether foul play might have been involved.

As rumors blazed out of control in a viral frenzy on the internet, another person lost his life. Special Agent James O’Sullivan of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was found dead in his home on December 14. Speculation has run rampant that the agent might have been investigating Deal’s death, the election, or even connections between the two.

The GBI has not confirmed what Special Agent O’Sullivan was working on prior to his death but claims O’Sullivan was not working on anything related to Deal or the elections. No cause of death has been released for O’Sullivan, and investigations are on-going into both cases.

Our sincere condolences go out to both men’s family, friends, and colleagues, and we hope that full disclosure is forthcoming in both cases. We will update our readers on story developments.
