(HorizonPost.com) – Jailed people trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is living in fear after reporting inmates for attempted extortion. The British former socialite, who was jailed for 20 years for facilitating underage prostitution for her friend Jeffrey Epstein, refuses to go to the showers and is walked to and from her library job every day by a guard.
Maxwell, who is vegan, had an arrangement with a kitchen worker where she would trade commissary goods for extra fruit and vegetables. A duo of Cuban inmates, said to be violent offenders, discovered the scheme and wrote to Maxwell that they would report her to authorities if she did not hand over items from the commissary. The Briton took the note to the jail’s Lieutenant’s office and the two Cuban inmates were sent to solitary confinement for 47 days. They are now back in the general population and reportedly seeking revenge.
A source inside the prison told the Daily Mail, “Las Cubanas have a reputation for being tough and mean inside jail and they don’t let anything slide. They are saying Maxwell needs to pay for the 47. Snitches get stitches, as the saying goes. They will beat her up the first chance they get.”
Ghislaine recently spent time in solitary confinement after a British reporter interviewed her in her cell. Jeremy Kyle, whose daytime show was sensationally canceled in the UK following a guest’s suicide, spoke to Maxwell by phone in January. During the interview, she expressed regret and remorse and told her victims she hopes they have found consolation in her imprisonment.
The heiress of media tycoon Robert Maxwell, who committed suicide in 1991, was jailed for 20 years in 2022. She was found guilty of a series of offenses related to persuading and coercing young girls into prostitution. Her alleged “clients” include Epstein, but she is also closely associated with powerful figures including Bill Clinton and the son of the late Queen of England, Prince Andrew.
