(HorizonPost.com) – President Joe Biden’s new administration has been criticized as the second incarnation of Barack Obama’s staff. By his “day one” actions and the stack of executive orders he signed, it certainly looks as if he took the former president’s decision to rule the nation using his pen and phone to heart.
Congressional Republicans have taken issue with many of these actions because they appear more targeted at helping foreign nations and interests than aiding the American people. High on the list is the order that would reenter the U.S. into the Paris agreement on climate change.
Who this agenda helps:
Paris Agreement -> China, European diplomats
Cancel Keystone -> Russian oligarchs
No wall -> illegal immigrants
Working class American priorities, small businesses reopening and recovering….nowhere to be found. https://t.co/XNNYXdgFxN

Former President Donald Trump withdrew from the Paris Accord because he recognized the damage it could do to the country and its workers, while unfairly letting China off the hook by absurdly deeming it “a developing country.” Conservative Senators are concerned President Biden will flout the advice and consent clause found in Article II, §2 of the Constitution regarding international treaties as Obama did before him. Several GOP politicians, including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), have been vocal opponents of the move and may seek redress through the Supreme Court.
