(HorizonPost.com) – Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany appeared on the Fox News Channel show “The Faulkner Focus” and spoke about her experiences working for former President Donald Trump. This is the first interview she’s given since leaving office, and besides speaking of her time there, she also announced she’ll be working for the network.
One of the topics they discussed was the events of January 6 and the riots that led into the Capitol Building itself. McEnany said that she and other staffers began the day believing that the rally where President Trump spoke would be peaceful, just as the “many dozens” where she had previously taken part.
She described it as a group of employees gathering together to watch the events unfold on television and “just completely condemning the actions of that day.” She also said she believes President Trump transformed the Republican Party for the better and made it more accessible to the average voter.
