MS-13 Behind California Voter Fraud Case

(HorizonPost.com) – As President Donald Trump continues to pursue his legal fight against alleged irregularities engineered by Democrats and/or Liberal allies, the political left maintains the narrative that things like that just don’t happen. However, the election for Mayor of Hawthorne, California, proves that people do hatch plots to rig elections.

Prosecutors in Hawthorne allege that the notorious MS-13 gang funded an effort to elect Mark Anthony Gonsalves, or as one media outlet put it, to get “one of their cronies” into office. The charges revolve around a supposed attempt to use the names of homeless and dead people as well as purely fictitious ones to falsely register some 8000 “voters.”

Fortunately, as small-time operators, they proved to be none-too-bright and used only three post office boxes and Gonsalves’ home address in their attempted fraud, making it fairly easy for authorities to apprehend them. This attempt, however, should leave Americans at least open to the idea of what a large, well-funded group might accomplish.
