Obama CIA Linked to Russian Collusion Hoax

(HorizonPost.com) – The US intelligence community, including the CIA, may have coordinated with foreign intelligence to target Donald Trump’s campaign advisors long before July 2016 as originally believed, according to a recent report from independent journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag.

In his final report for the Justice Department, special counsel John Durham concluded that the FBI never should have opened its Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Donald Trump in July 2016.

However, sources claim that the intel community had worked with foreign intel agencies long before July 2016 to target the Trump campaign’s advisors.

The official Russian collusion story had been that the FBI began investigating the Trump team’s alleged ties to Russia after Australian intelligence informed US officials that an aide for Donald Trump had been boasting to an Australian diplomat that Russia had compromising material about Hillary Clinton.

However, according to sources close to the House Intelligence Committee, the US intel community had asked the so-called “Five Eyes” intel alliance (US, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand) to launch surveillance on Trump associates and share any intel they acquired with the US before the summer of 2016.

A source confirmed to Shellenberger, Taibbi, and Gutentag that former Obama CIA Director John Brennan had provided the Five Eyes with the names of 26 Trump associates to target for surveillance. According to the source, the individuals were identified as “people to ‘bump’,” namely individuals foreign intelligence should make contact with or manipulate. The 26 individuals were also “targets for collection and misinformation” by US intel agencies and law enforcement, the source said.

Sources also confirmed that further details about the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation along with the raw intelligence from the intel community’s surveillance on the Trump campaign are included in a binder that former President Trump ordered declassified at the end of his presidency.

The reporters suggest that if this binder exists, it could be proof that officials with the intelligence community “broke laws against spying and election interference.”

Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Tuesday night to discuss the explosive report. Watch the segment HERE.
