Biden Tells Everyone He’s Having Trouble
(HorizonPost.com)- U.S. President Joe Biden told the world that he was having trouble reading from a piece of paper during a speech he gave at the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia. The speech came after the president had a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to The Western Journal.
The piece of paper Biden was reading from allegedly contained a list of the preapproved journalists to call on. This is not the first time.
The president held his first major conference since January two weeks ago, and after giving a speech on the results of the midterm elections, he explicitly stated that he had been given a “list of 10 people that I’m supposed to call on.”
The G20 Summit was no different when it was time to answer questions, except this time the president had trouble reading its names.
“Um—uh, I’m having trouble reading this,” the president said stammering. “Reuters, Natandya Bo—Bose.”
The White House issued a correction in the official transcript of the president’s speech, adding that the reporter’s name is Nandita Bose. In a video shared on Twitter of the mess-up, users were especially unrelenting in their criticism of the president being unable to pronounce a name that was not nearly as hard as he made it sound.

The embarrassing moment comes amid the heels of when Biden was reportedly unable to read a teleprompter. Speaking to world leaders at the United Nations climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, Biden stumbled.

The audience awkwardly chuckled along with the president as he tried to make light of the gaffe, but Twitter users were again not giving the president the benefit of the doubt to save face.
Criticism of Biden’s age and cognitive decline began during the 2020 election season when Republicans claimed that he was “hiding in his basement” with the help of his handlers. When Biden became president, however, he was given cheat sheets and teleprompters to aid him, not to any avail.
In addition to his televised speaking gaffes, Biden was captured falling up the stairs while entering Air Force One, as well as falling off of his bike while greeting fans.
