Protests Heat Up After Latest Development in Gabby Petito Case

(HorizonPost.com) – The tragic, and in many ways horrifying, story of the life and death of Gabby Petito has grabbed the world’s attention. That public interest has intensified, as have the protests at the home of Brian Laundrie, Gabby’s fiancé, and his parents after the local coroner released his autopsy report on her death. On October 12, the local coroner in Wyoming revealed Petito died of manual strangulation.

The home Laundrie shared with his parents and fiancé for two years is a focal point for gawkers, the press, and individuals who want to make a point. In one case, a group of protesters used a loudspeaker to ‘encourage’ Laundrie’s parents to “come out here and answer America’s questions.” On the evening of October 12, two people were caught on camera banging on the front door with one yelling — with oh so much wit — “come on, dirty Laundries.”

A massive manhunt remains underway for Brian Laundrie, a person of interest in this case. He disappeared from everyone’s radar on September 13. There’s an active federal arrest warrant for his arrest for allegedly using Petito’s bank card after the date she’s presumed to have died. His complete drop off the grid has convinced many he must be guilty. However, this is America, and nobody is guilty of anything unless and until they confess or a jury says they are.
