Republican Leader Ousted From Position in Party

(HorizonPost.com) – Children often take on their parents’ traits — it’s hereditary. It seems that Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) picked up the RINO (Republican In Name Only) gene from her father, one-time Vice President Dick Cheney. Because of that, she’s lost her position as conference chairwoman — the number three position in the GOP hierarchy in the House of Representatives.

Defiant to the end, the night before the vote, she read a speech into the record from the floor of the chamber. All but one Republican lawmaker deserted her as she rose to deliver her remarks. She said that former President Donald Trump is lying when he claims underhanded Democrat tactics are why he lost the election, claiming it threatens the foundations of America.

Ironically, a Liberal pundit, Ryan Grim, took both of the Cheneys to task for their hypocrisy in their determination to reshape the party into their image, which, according to the writer, is one of simply maintaining their positions of power. Fear is a powerful motivator, and President Trump isn’t a fan of the political establishment she cherishes.
