(HorizonPost.com) – In December, an IT contractor for Dominion Voting Systems testified alongside famed Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani that she witnessed voter fraud on Dominion’s machines. Days later, Saturday Night Live did a skit of Mellissa Carone’s testimony, making her famous in her hometown. Now, Carone says she’s running for the Michigan statehouse.

Carone will be campaigning to win Michigan’s 46th District house seat, which will become available in the 2022 election. Michigan has term limits, and representatives can only serve three two-year terms, for a total of six years. The current Representative, John Reilly, was first elected in 2016 and will complete his six-year term-limit.
If elected, Carone intends to ensure ballots are hand-counted to end voter fraud in the state. She also wants to “drain the swamp” in the state capital. When asked about the violent riot on January 6 in Washington, DC, the hopeful Representative said she’s against violence. However, she said what’s truly dangerous is “stealing” an election.
