Secret Dr. Fauci Fan Club Was Hosted By Twitter Moderators

(HorizonPost.com) – Dr. Anthony Fauci destroyed millions of lives with lockdowns, lied about funding the Wuhan lab’s gain-of-function research, and promoted experimental vaccines.

However, Dr. Fauci has a massive following on the left, and no one idolizes Dr. Fauci more than Dr. Fauci.

He exclaimed, “It’s nice that some people idolize me and put me on a pedestal,” in a recent interview.

With a Slack channel named “Fauci Fan Club” dedicated to him, it appears that former Twitter employees did, in fact, idolize him.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, revealed that the company’s staff had the group.

Musk remarked in a thread on Twitter that he accused Fauci of supporting gain-of-function research, the process in which an organism is genetically altered to improve a biological function.

According to the Department of Health and Human Services, it can increase a pathogen’s capacity for disease to help scientists understand its potential to start a pandemic and guide public health preparation efforts.

When software engineer Marc Andreessen posted a screenshot arguing that it is untrue to say that Fauci has ever lied about his work or public health initiatives, Musk reacted to the post.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and other Republican senators have claimed that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports gain-of-function studies at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but Fauci has refuted this claim.

Gain-of-function research is widespread and frequently carried out in cells and organisms like mice and worms, but it has drawn criticism when applied to pathogens. According to an increasing number of scientists, Gain-of-function studies with pathogens can potentially be dangerous if the proper safety measures aren’t taken.

One theory explaining how the pandemic began, which holds that a pathogen unintentionally leaked from a lab and ignited the pandemic, has made the Wuhan Institute of Virology a central figure.

Musk tweeted, “Despite these obvious problems, Twitter had an internal Slack channel unironically named ‘Fauci Fan Club.'”

Earlier this month, Musk tweeted that his pronouns are “Prosecute/Fauci,” to which he received negative online feedback. Musk has previously called for Fauci to be put on trial.
