(HorizonPost.com) – When President Donald Trump decided to fill the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the cries from the Left came quickly and loudly. Progressives threatened “court-packing” as a means of making sure they could still advance their agenda, a process the Joe Biden/Kamala Harris duo refuses to comment on.
Currently, the number of justices on the court is set by a purely legislative process, meaning that if Biden wins and the Democrats take the majority in the Senate, they could add as many judicial activists to the panel as they wish. To counter this, five Republican Senators have begun the process of adding a Constitutional Amendment that would limit the number of seats to the current nine.

The American form of government is made up of three theoretically equal branches. However, the Supreme Court has become the final arbiter on what becomes the law of the land because of the checks and balances that exist Constitutionally. It’s critical to preserve the integrity of the Court to maintain those balances.
