Stormy Daniels Admits Trump Indictment “Doesn’t Feel” Like Victory

(HorizonPost.com) – After former President Donald Trump was indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, the adult film star admitted that it did not feel like a victory, according to The Hill. Daniels reportedly told New York Magazine that the indictment was a “bittersweet feeling.”

Trump is looking at 34 counts of business fraud related to the payments made during his presidential campaign in 2016 to cover up an alleged affair. He pleaded not guilty and maintains his innocence, calling it politically motivated and a weaponization of the justice system. Nevertheless, if found guilty on all counts, the former president is looking at over 100 years in prison.

Although Daniels once denied that anything had ever happened between the two, she now claims that if she was asked to testify in court, she would because she has “nothing to hide.” She added that she is the only one “telling the truth.”

New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi told the story as beginning with Daniels clearing the room with sage and using a deck of cards to ask for the “spirits” to inform her about the past, present, and “the potential.” After picking up a card that allegedly indicated “chaos,” Daniels said it was for Trump, but that it was really for everybody. And then both the reporter and Daniels reportedly cried “because it’s real.”

Daniels alleged that they first met in Lake Tahoe and eventually had dinner together. But she claims that when she arrived at his hotel, he was in black silk pajamas and she demanded that he change. She then claims that she spanked him with a magazine that had his face on the cover.

Trump is the first president in U.S. history to have been indicted. He currently remains the frontrunner in the Republican Party running for president after losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden.
