Ted Cruz Responds to Death Of Iran Nuclear Scientist

(HorizonPost.com) – Iran’s nuclear weapons program took a major hit when their top scientist, Mohsen Fahrizade, was assassinated on November 27. Now, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has taken to Twitter to set the facts straight on someone who called the act “criminal” and “highly reckless” — an American, at that.

Former CIA director John Brennan, who served under President Barack Obama, made those comments. It’s worth noting it was that administration that entered into a back-channel agreement and funneled billions of dollars to the Islamic Republic. They then allegedly lied to Congress about the details of the assets frozen in the United States.

As Senator Cruz pointed out, since the Ayatollahs came to power in the late 1970s, the chant “death to America” has been heard often in the streets and mosques of that country. Some have warned a potential Biden presidency would be the equivalent of a third term for Obama. Brennan’s tweet should give us pause, at the very least.
