(HorizonPost.com) – Taking a stroll along the beach is not something that typically gets someone put in handcuffs and cited. Unless, of course, someone is walking while dressed like Michael Myers from the Halloween movie franchise with the signature goalie mask and a prop knife covered in fake blood. Someone saw attorney Mark Metzger of Galveston, Texas, doing just that and called the police.
Attorney Mark Metzger said he decided to walk along the Galveston beach while holding a fake bloodied knife to bring "positive vibes" to the world. https://t.co/EhRhiKkZDC

After complying with the officers’ orders to kneel and put his hands on top of his head, they found the blade was plastic and unlikely to cause harm. The cops gave Metzger a citation for disturbing the peace and sent him on his way. If nothing else, he got his 15 minutes of fame out of the stunt when a local band — “Average Joe and the Clones” — posted a video of his run-in “wid da fuzz” in an original rap song on YouTube.
The legal beagle says he made the trek dressed up as a horror movie villain as a prank intended to restore “our faith in humanity through humor,” adding his desire to do that “is 100% what I’m about.” When he spoke to KTRK ABC13 in Houston, he likened the scene to something from the end of a Scooby-Doo cartoon and quipped, “I would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling Karens, you know?”
