(HorizonPost.com) – The weekend of February 25 -28 was the annual meeting of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where elected officials and other Conservatives met to discuss policies of concern to the Right. The most eagerly anticipated speaker at this year’s event was former President Donald Trump, but there were many more people speaking their minds.
One such is freshman Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO), an unabashed supporter of the Second Amendment right to bear arms. She owns a restaurant in Rifle, CO, where employees open-carry guns. In her short time in office, she’s made a name for herself by standing up to Democrats and Progressives and the cancel culture they push.

Boebert refuses to back down in the face of Twitter and Facebook trying to suppress her voice, and she even let fly a little snark aimed at Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). She refers to Capitol Hill, surrounded by fencing and barbed wire with National Guard troops on patrol, as “Fort Pelosi.” Boebert and President Trump are two Republicans who will not kowtow to the Left.
