(HorizonPost.com) – Former President Donald Trump did a telephone interview with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, covering a wide range of topics. One subject of great interest centered on his plans for the 2024 presidential election and the conditions under which he would accept the mantle again.
He pointed out that the main focus of his at this point is the midterm elections. According to him, there’s a serious need to recapture both the House and the Senate before they can do irreparable harm to the country by making it impossible, or nearly so, for a Republican to win the White House ever again. Perhaps realizing that another run would be futile the way things stand now, he said, to paraphrase, that he’s taking a wait-and-see approach before making any final decisions.

That’s not to say he’s staying on the sidelines in the approach to those vital votes, not in the least. He’s been very busy speaking out for certain candidates and letting his followers know whom he believes would act in the country’s best interests.
