Border Patrol Busts Shocking Fraud by Illegals at the Border

(UnitedVoice.com) – When former President Donald Trump was dealing with the caravans approaching the southern border, officials tried to explain they had to check to ensure the people traveling with the kids were actually relatives. In 2018, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said children were being “used and trafficked by unrelated adults.” Alleged “experts” scoffed at the idea, but it looks like it’s a legit problem.

On April 13, US Customs and Border Protection announced agents had identified “two fraudulent family units” while they were processing people. An 8-year-old girl entered the country illegally with a 36-year-old man who said he was her father but later admitted he lied. The other incident was of a 40-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl who said they were mother and daughter, but they were actually niece and aunt. In both instances, the pairs were separated and processed individually.

These were just two cases of fraudulent family units. But with thousands of immigrants crossing each day, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine there are more like this. It’s just another example of why it’s so important for the federal government to get the crisis at the border under control.
