(HorizonPost.com) – When people go to Walmart to buy groceries and essentials, the last thing they expect is for someone to offer them money in exchange for their children. On January 13, a woman approached a mother in the self-checkout line in Walmart in Crockett, Texas. The mother had her baby and toddler with her, and the stranger asked to buy the youngest child for $250,000. The shocked and bewildered woman got away from the suspect as quickly as possible, only to run into her, Rebecca Taylor, and her cohort in the parking lot. The second woman reportedly asked for the child’s name.
Taylor tried to offer the mother $500,000, but she locked her babies inside her vehicle and called the police. The women who allegedly tried to buy the baby fled the scene.
