Donald Trump: I Feel Like Elvis

(HorizonPost.com) – When he isn’t making NFT cards, the former president is recording songs with prisoners accused of a host of crimes on January 6, according to Mediaite. While speaking with Fox News’ Sean Hannity earlier this week, Donald Trump expressed his excitement that his song with the prisoners is topping the charts on iTunes, Amazon, and Billboard.

The prisoners of that day who stormed the Capitol during the certification of the 2020 election results are facing numerous charges, including assaulting law enforcement, according to ABC. The Department of Justice reportedly found 1,000 instances of assault.

Trump told Hannity that he thinks the song is doing really well because people think that those protestors on January 6 who have been arrested and charged, many of whom are still in jail, have been “very unfairly treated.”

New footage released from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to Fox News from that day shows Capitol police walking the “QAnon Shaman” through the halls of the building and showing him around.

Trump also mentioned the success of his rally in Waco, Texas. After his speech, he allegedly claimed that the charges being brought against him by the NYC district attorney have been dropped but did not cite any evidence backing it up. “It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing,” he told reporters.

The charges include hush money he paid to Stormy Daniels to allegedly keep the affair hidden from his wife Melania. Trump denies the allegations and calls the investigation politically motivated. Critics of the NYC D.A. are saying that crime in the city is rising while he is focusing on prosecuting his political opponents rather than criminals. 92% of all New Yorkers are saying that crime is a somewhat or very serious problem in the state, according to the conservative magazine American Pigeon.
