John Kerry Sold His Wife’s Jet, Without Destroying It

(HorizonPost.com) – In an exclusive last week, Fox News reported that after facing harsh criticism for President Biden’s Climate Czar John Kerry’s frequent use of a private plane, last summer, the Kerry family sold their private jet to a hedge fund based in New York.

According to Federal Aviation Administration registration information obtained by Fox News, the Kerry family’s Gulfstream GIV-SP is no longer listed as being owned by Flying Squirrel LLC, the family’s charter firm. According to John Kerry’s financial filings, he and his wife Teresa Heinz-Kerry own an over $1 million stake in Flying Squirrel LLC.

FAA registration information now lists the Gulfstream’s owner as AV Aviation, LLC, a firm based out of Waterbury-Oxford Airport in Connecticut. According to documents filed with the state, AV Aviation is a subsidiary of AC Investment Management, a New York City-based hedge fund that specializes in investments in green technology and renewable energy, managing funds worth hundreds of millions of dollars, according to Fox News.

Based on FAA filings obtained by Fox News via a FOIA request, it appears the Kerry family’s private jet was transferred to AC Aviation on August 22, 2022. Less than a week later, someone named Yvonne Rivera requested that the FAA place an industry-level LADD (Limiting Aircraft Data Display) on the aircraft to prevent it from being tracked publicly.

However, Fox reports that the Gulfstream GIV-SP is still trackable, noting that it flew from Connecticut to Los Angeles two weeks ago.

In a statement from Kerry’s office, spokeswoman Whitney Smith told Fox News that in his role as Biden’s Climate Czar, Kerry “travels commercially.” Smith said that the Gulfstream was previously owned by the family of Teresa Heinz-Kerry but was “sold last summer.”

Smith also told Fox News that John Kerry has no relationship with AC Investment Management and was not involved in the request for the LADD.
