It Looks Like The Media Wants To Dump Joe Biden

(HorizonPost.com) – In another sign that the news media might be turning on Joe Biden, Axios published a report on Monday about Biden’s volatile temper.

Throughout his career, Biden has been portrayed as a kindly grandfather figure, full of empathy, kindness, and compassion. But according to Axios, former and current Biden staffers cast doubt on the image by revealing the president’s profanity-laced tirades and hair-trigger temper behind closed doors.

The staffers, some of whom witnessed or were targets of Biden’s rages, said the president frequently yells and curses at aides, shouting for them to “Get the f*ck out of here” or “Don’t f*cking bullsh*t me!”

According to one White House official, nobody is safe from Biden’s tirades.

In the book “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” author Chris Whipple quotes former press secretary Jen Psaki who claimed that she told the president that she would know that they have a “really good, trusting relationship” when he yells at her.

At the same time, some aides believe that Biden would be better off if he would occasionally display that kind of behavior in public. The aides told Axios that letting voters see him lose his temper might counter the belief that Biden is too old and disengaged to serve as president.

According to Axios, Biden’s flashes of anger are not “erratic tantrums” but “angry interrogations” in which he grills aides on an issue until he is satisfied that they don’t know what they’re talking about. Aides refer to this as “stump the chump,” Axios reported.

While some portray Biden’s temper flares as a reflection of his high expectations for staffers, some say learning to deal with Biden’s moodiness can take years to learn.

Axios concedes that for all the effort to mask Biden’s hot-headedness from the public, it does at times rear its head, including during a press conference when Biden referred to Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy as a “stupid son of a bitch.”
