Melania Trump’s Preferred VP Candidate Sparks Interest

(HorizonPost.com) – Axios reported last week that the Trump campaign has already started counting its chickens before a single primary vote is cast, selecting individuals who would be included in a second Trump administration should Trump be the GOP nominee and win the General Election in 2024.

According to sources who frequently speak with Trump, candidates for a possible second Trump administration will be selected based on two things: their undying loyalty to Donald Trump and their willingness to “stretch legal and governance boundaries.”

The sources told Axios that some of the names being floated to fill the most powerful positions include podcaster Steve Bannon, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, former Defense Department aide Kash Patel, and former Trump adviser Stephen Miller.

In short, Trump plans to name people he believes will help him punish his opponents, purge the government of the non-faithful, and pursue controversial military and legal action.

Trump and his inner circle are not shy about admitting that a second Trump administration would seek to target and jail political opponents, including reporters and government officials, as well as round up illegal aliens for deportation and use the military for an array of missions, including targeting drug cartels and cracking down on protesters or criminals in the US.

Team Trump also plans to get rid of the rules limiting the administration’s ability to fire federal workers who are considered disloyal to Trump.

When it comes to picking a vice president, Trump has reportedly discussed with his inner circle several possible candidates for the position. The most important qualifications for VP are unwavering loyalty to Trump and a belief that the 2020 election was stolen and former VP Mike Pence was wrong for not rejecting the certification of electors.

Among those being considered are Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Arizona gubernatorial loser Kari Lake, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.

According to Axios, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene are also mentioned as possible Veep choices, while Melania Trump would like to see former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, whom she believes would be a powerful extension of her husband on the campaign trail.

However, some sources told Axios that it is unlikely Trump would choose Carlson since he would not want a running mate who could outshine him.
